So santa made his grand entrance at the mall today and I took my kids to see him and get a picture. I took time and dressed them up then we went and got in line towards the front (you could watch him come in the main mall door and walk down to where the pics are, but we just waited down where the pics where and I am so glad, we were 5th in line and the line was long. So our turn comes and the lady asks if I want a pic and I say yes. So she just goes and snaps, well my kids arent even looking so she goes look her and snap, so this time they have funny looks on their face from turning to look. So she goes which do you want and I tell her well neither, can you take one where they are both looking and smiling, she gets annoyed but snaps another, again she just snaps, my son is looking off at the people through the window, the opposite way of the camera. She goes "OK there" and I tell her again no I want one where the kids are facing the camera and smiling. She goes well we have a lot of kids in line and need to keep it moving. I say ok, well I am not spending $34 on pics of crap, so she tells me maybe I should come back on another day. I say I am not dressng my kids up again cuz she doesn't want to do her job right (the whole time my kids and santa are just talking) so I finally get her to take on more pic and it came out ok so I took it, but man the lady was rude!! Ugh.. (I don't have a scanner so I can't post the pic until I go to my friend's house)
yeah, and at our mall you can't use your own camera, even if you are also buying their pics. last year the lady was very nice though, my daughter lost her mind as soon as daddy put her on Santa's lap and stepped away. she was going to wait to see if the baby quieted down a bit, but I told her to go ahead and snap it with her screaming - everyone should have one pic of their kid like that. you could see the relief on her face that she was finally dealing with a reasonable parent.
