Does anyone have kids very close together in age?

My husband and I are really considering having another baby soon, which would most likely put the babies about 12 months apart.

If you have kids really close together in age, how close together are they and what were some of the struggles you faced with a small age gap?

I am having my second in two years. My dd is only 15 months and will be about 16 mos when he comes. I wouldnt want another one this close, but i think its gonna work out great for my two.

My first two are 12 months and 21 days apart. My second and third are about a yr and half apart. I prefer it that way, and if we could afford it i'd have one more to keep them close.

I would say the hardest part is the pregnancy itself, honestly. It was really hard on my body. My next pregnancy after waiting a yr was alot easier.

My kids are best friends. They do pretty much everything together. I love it.

mine are 13mo apart. i say the hardest thing is trying to breastfeed when the other wants to play or is getting in trouble. its tough keeping up with 2 babies at the same time!

All three of mine are 19 months apart. My twins were 10 months old when I got pregnant again. I love having them so close together, and wish we would have started trying for the 4th sooner (we are gonna start trying in January, the twins will be almost 4, and the baby will be 2 years 4 months)

It was difficult having 3 in diapers at once, but now there is only one in diapers. Other then that, I love everything else about having them so close in age!

Mine are actually two years exactly apart.  The biggest challenge for me was the all night nursing with the newborn and the all day chasing with my toddler.  When it's just one you have a chance to nap when the baby naps if you want or at least just a little get away time.  When it's a newborn and a toddler it's go-go-go.

That said my two are best friends (and sometimes worst enemies) but I like the age gap. lol

Holy crap! LOL Mine are 22 months and 4 days apart. It was hard, but I wouldn't have it any other way- not further apart, definitely not closer! Best of luck to you!

My oldest ds is 3, my middle ds is 19 mths and my youngest ds is almost 4 mths.  Rough part for me is my oldest two ds are always shoving, pushing, and pulling hair.  They are rough with eachother.  However they love their baby brother and give him kisses to his hands and feet.  My middle ds is into everything and he's a lil bit more active then the other 2.  The roughest of all is when he wakes up at night around 11 and Jasper wakes up at the same time.  One or the other will have to cry for a few mins until diaper changes and cups filled, bottles filled.  I was drained through the pregnancy with Danny and keeping up with Zach.  Jasper is 10 times the amount of fatigue.
