What's on your menu for Thanksgiving??? I need ideas.
We are going to my IL's house for Thanksgiving. She is making soooo much food already. I usually bring a side dish or two and a dessert, but she has so much planned already that I have no idea what to bring. I need ideas for different, or maybe not so traditional side dishes. Thanks.
Here's what I know we will be having
Turkey
Ham
Rolls
Dressing (regular, and oyster..gross..lol)
Cranberry Sauce
Veggie Tray
Relish Tray (pickles, olives, etc)
Mashed Potatoes
Gravy
Deviled Eggs
Green Bean Casserole
Sweet Potato Casserole
Pumpkin Pie
Apple Pie
Cherry Pie
Cherry Delight
Chocolate Cake
Mini Cheesecake Bites
I know there is more, but I'm forgetting it all right now. But what does that leave me to bring??? lol I know I'm making a 7 layer salad, but I can't think of anything else. I was thinking some kind of fruit salad?? Anyone have a good recipe for fruit salad. I need to find one that my DD can have..she has 11 food allergies, so that may be tough. But I may be able to adapt certain recipes, so just give me whatever you have... please. =)
She is allergic to eggs, milk, soy, wheat, oats, green peas, carrots, beef, fish, shellfish and peanuts. We also avoid oranges and strawberries for her.

What food allergies does you DD have? I might be able to help if you tell me that. I have allergies to eggs, apples, and pecans. Along with my DD having an egg allergy. So I have come up with things and there are sites that can help you out.
Thsnks. I'm going to check it out right now.

Mac and cheese sounds good, and it's something the kids would like too. There will only be 4 kids there (my 3 and 1 other), so I think our menu is really focusing on the adults and forgetting the kids. I may just do mac and cheese too.
Quoting PLATINUM_BEAUTY:
Turkey
green bean casserole
yams
cranberry sauce
home made mac n cheese
potato salad
mashed taters and beef gravy
rolls
deviled eggs
other appetizers and deserts.
