diabetic pie?

my mom's bf is diabetic. I want to make a dessert for Thanksiginv to bring there with us. Any suggestions?

I've never made a diabetic dessert before. I know Angel Food Cake is good, but anything else?

If you can find the recipe for Diabetic pumkin pie, it actually tastes great. I have also had it made with splenda and that is good too. Ive lost my recipe for the diabetic one.

My mom has juvenile diabetes. Meaning she pretty much has been a diabetic most of her life. She absolutely hates diabetic desserts, sugar free crap, or anything with artificial sweetners in it. If it's thanksgiving or a special dinner she just takes more insulin if she is going to eat something like cake or pie. So personally I wouldn't make a diabetic dessert. He'll be able to eat the regular stuff.
