Don't you just hate when you see a mom looking like a slut?

I was in another post and it got me thinking.  [No, the title wasn't included in the other post and there wasn't a debate.]  But, do you feel, as a mother, you have to dress appropriately just because you are a mom?  Do you keep up with fashion trends?  How does your age factor into this?

EDIT--I just thought I'd make it clear that I'm not talking about just dressing like a slut.  Dressing like a slut isn't good [IMO] whether you're a mom or not.  The question is more about people wearing certain things because they are a mom.  Are we not 'allowed' to wear fashionable things?  Are we not allowed to wear things we like because other women our age aren't wearing them?

ANOTHER EDIT---This isn't about other people [the title was there for a catch].  I'm talking about YOU.  Do YOU feel YOU have to dress differently now that YOU're a mom?  Do YOU feel YOU have to dress differently because YOU are 25, 30, 40?  And, how did YOU decide that?

I have no money to keep up with any trend. I wear the same stuff I did years ago... but it isn't "slutty."

for practical reasons, i keep the ho-ness down! when chasing a toddler, you cant get far in heels and a mini skirt/a**-tight jeans. i dunno why some moms do it, but it does seem tacky. like u are trying to pick up guys with your kid right there.

I don't think just because someone is a mother they have to dress different then what they did before

i dress with trends i think. How i dress could be slutty to some and conservative to others..it really depends on the people themselves for the most part. I mean some think a spaghetti strap tank top is slutty.

I dress sexy for dh all the time. When I am out with the kids I want stuff I can bend in and move around. I dont show thongs though, and I keep it classy, sexy but I think a mother should be able to dress sexy.
