My 16 month old says this a million times a day. Isn't he a little young for this? When did yours start? Mine was 15 months.

I couldn't stand when my son said mine, he always got in trouble and he quit immediately. Good luck!

Lol he says more too. It's when he wants a drink or a snack. I'm trying to teach him to say eat and drink. It hasn't worked yet, he says them every once in a while lol

My son is almost 25 months and has never really done this. He has said it a few times when his two girl cousins come over (who are the same age as him) and he gets jelous that they are playing with his toys, but even then its infrequent.

My son just turned two and mine is all he seems to say. Everything is his. He just walks around saying mine mine mine over and over. He will even take stuff out of your hands and say mine and take it and run. We are working hard on getting him to stop. I hope this will pass quick.

My son whos 26 months says this a lot, he will point at me and tell me no then pound his chest and say "MINE".  Its funny but i dont let him see me laugh or he would do it all the time.

My daughter, who is 16 months also, says "mine", too. I am pretty sure she learned it from her friend who is 3. She doesn't say it all the time, but she will let you know she doesnt want you to take something from her, or that she wants what you have by using "mine".

don't worry even at the age of 13 they still say mine.  I think when he was younger I think that was his second word and money his 3 word
