BONES (sad story)

My sisters friend has had a dog that comes into its yard every so often for the last couple months and he feeds it because he doesn't look fed...the dog goes home to his neglectful and abusive owners to come back again and again...with a collar...one day he comes back without a collar. The friend takes the dog into his home and posts for "found dog" in papers and on the web...no one claims this flea infested skin and bones dog. But the friend is in no place to take care of a dog either...So here I am with this little cuddle bug of a one year old parson's jack russell terrior that ate a HUGE bowl of food when he came to my house and got a bath and some much needed TLC. He is doing great with our pitbull and our dd. We don't know if this will be his permanent residence but until he is much healthier and happier he is here. I am already deeply in love with this little trooper and hope my husband decides to keep him! If not here we will make sure he finds the best home with really good people. Just wanted to share the story of "BONES" (he never had a name but since all we see are his big sad eyes and his bones, it's fitting).

(yes, i had him checked out before he came to our home just in case their was a problem that could hurt my dog brutus or my daughter kahlan)

Oh that poor thing. It's good to hear that he's getting some much needed love. I want a dog so bad, but we can't have one here.
