My guess would be that they're going on a date. Seems like the obvious assumption to me.

the ones i see do it are usually waiting for that date to come /something exciting must be gonna happen on that date like either they're getting married or their baby is due that date or a birthday or something like that !i dont know it could maybe mean something else tho !

Id guess its an important date that theyre excited about. Somethings gonna happen on that date or did happen... thats what id think it meant...

My step-daughter has a date on her mood status. I know she has been talking about this one guy alot. Could it be the date they started dating?
