Went shopping yesterday and picked up some new movies i've been waiting for.
Tinkerbell the Lost Treasure: DD loved it, i loved it, get it! And make the kids watch the whole thing. It is truly a story about overcoming hurdles in friendship.
Up: DD loves these pixar movies. The're Great. And this one delivered. The first 20 minutes of the movie really set you up for this fun adventure. And be sure to watch the Shorts after the movie!
Star Trek: I let DD watch it, she liked the explosions :) And it was her first theater movie. But we had to leave halfway through, because she started whistling. Yes, my 2.5 year old whistles. Ok, shes just about 3 now. Maybe we'll try the theater again soon. Ok, on to the review now that i've seen the whole thing. Kirk making out with a green skinned woman? Check. Red Shirt? Check. Bones as the doomsaying, brusque, lack of bedside manner doctor? Check. Kobayashi Maru? Check. All the wonderful original characters? Check. Leonard Nimoy? Check. Wait...WTF? Leonard Nimoy??? Squeeeeeeee!!!!!!!! Ok, i loved the movie! And all the little homages to the original series!! If your a trekkie/trekker go see it. If your not, see it, and tell yourself it is an action flick, and you are NOT descending into geekiness.

It just came out in theaters on Friday. Waiting for it to come out at our Drive in before i go see it.
Quoting lbdm2002:Is this in theaters or on DVD?
Quoting brandneweyes:

I saw New Moon on Thursday and it was AWESOME! But I'm also a HUGE Twilight fan, so that would explain my fondness lol....
We just saw Up, and all of us, dd, my mom,dad and me loved it. Thats a rare thing. I also bought My Sister's Keeper, I usually don't buy movies but I saw it in the theater and loved it. It's my new fave movie to watch if I want to cry.
