If you could do things over, would you? Why or why not.....

I home school because I have seen the village, and I don't want it educating my children!

Not exactly. I would have waited and lived with my DH on our own before getting married so we would have gotten through the most stressful stage before we actually were married. It's hard having my son this young and I wish that I would have been more established before having him so I could give him more. I do enjoy things the way they are in some ways but it's not easy being this young. I do with I would have taken my parents advice on not growing up too fast though. I wish I would have enjoyed my teen years and at least gone to prom once and done all the other things a normal teen does.

Okay, I'll ask a few before I head off to bed, lol. (I had my first son at 19, not quite as young, but still pretty young.)

Were you married before you got pregnant? Was the pregnancy planned?

Do you work (other than being a mom, that is!)?

Is there anything you think is easier as a younger mom?

do you have someone who helps you with the chid so you can still have somewhat of a social life?

Were you married before you got pregnant? We already had a date set and everything ready and then I found out I was pregnant a few weeks before we actually got married

Was the pregnancy planned? Absolutley not. It was a complete shock to us.

Do you work (other than being a mom, that is!)? I do. I work for an inventory company but it is in the off season until january. I just got another at a place where you call and do surveys but haven't started that yet. Also I write a little on the side to make a few extra dollars.

Is there anything you think is easier as a younger mom? I really tried to think of something but really I don't think there is anything easier about being a young mom. The fact that by the time my son is 18 I'll only be in my mid 30's in nice though.

For the most part no. My dad will watch my son maybe 4 times a year but that is for my DH and I to go out together. One of the things that bothers me a lot about teen moms is when they are always getting rid of their child so they can go out with their friends and have fun. Once and awhile is okay but I see way too many teen moms doing it too often.

You should message me about the survey thing. Sounds like fun and I need some extra money for bills.

I agree. My neice is 16 with a baby and I swear she does not need to have a child but you sound very mature unlike most teen mothers I personally know.

I think teen moms should act the same way as any other mom.
