I dont think you can if someone is manually deleting it. You can go to the tools drop down menu and hit options. Then under privacy change the setting to clear every 30 days or whatever. but someone will still be able to manually delete the history although I have heard that it is still stored on the comp. even when deleted so IDK.

I am pretty sure that you can still access what is being viewed even if the browser history is deleted. Your computer stores cookies from every website that has been visited and the only way to get rid of that is to open internet explorer and click on tools, then internet options then delete. You can look through the cookies to find out what the person has been looking at, but you cannot stop them from deleting the browser history. Good Luck Mama~

I dont think that you can block it, HOWEVER....even when someone thinks they deleted the history..they really havent, your best bet would be to go into the cookies to see what they deleted.

you can install some spying software... I have a program on my desktop computer that not only has a keylogger (so I can read everything my son says on any site, including whatever he backspaced out and changed), but it also takes a screenshot every 30 seconds so I can see exactly what sites he's on and what he's doing there.  I know all of his passwords to all of his email accounts, even the ones I'm not supposed to know exist.

it runs in the background and is completely hidden - you don't even see it when you look at your task manager.  it's password protected, and you have to press an odd combination of keys to get the controls to pop up.  it's the best $20 I've spent.

I think you have to go to the person deleting it and say ..."why are you deleting it"...at least, call me crazy, but thats what I would do.

There should be a back up history in your my computer folder somewhere. When our history deletes its self after 30 days and if I forgot to save something under my favorites my dh is always able to pull it up from there. I just tried looking but we have like 200 things in the my computer folder so that would take forever.

I AM A SAHM OF 2 WONDERFUL CHILDREN. LOVING WIFE OF 2 YEARS. I BREASTFED SWITCHED TO FORMULA WITH BOTH OF MY CHILDREN. I BELIEVE IN CRYING IT OUT AFTER 2 MONTHS OLD, SPANKINGS WHEN NEEDED, I LET MY FAMILY EAT JUNK FOOD IF THEY WANT IT, GAVE MY DD'S WHOLE HALLOWEEN, AND EASTER BASKET TO HER TILL THE CANDY WAS GONE. I AM A SMOKER TRYING TO QUIT, DRINK ON OCCASION, LOVE TO COOK, MY HOME IS ALWAYS CLEAN "IF" SOME ONE SHOWS UP, NEVER LATE TO ANYTHING KIND OF MOMMY AND WIFE. ITS JUST WHO I AM.

Unfortunately, Ive already thought of the "what are you deleting" option. People lie, as is the case.

Moving on.....How do i look at the cookies??
