2 nights ago i heard something and got up to find DD (2 y/o) with the ridge open cracking eggs all over the floor. Then both this morning and yesterday morning I woke up to find she had opened the fridge and left it that way. I dont know hoy to get her to stop! She is going to spoil the mlk and all the other food in there.
Baby gate her door so she cannot wander the house at night.
i cant lock ours. The "handles" are just indentations in the side of the door.

This is obviously not a long-term solution, but until you can figure out something more permanent, you could put something heavy in front of the refrigerator when you go to bed at night. It doesn't have to be anything ridiculously heavy, just enough that your daughter can't shove it out of the way or pull the doors of the refrigerator open against it. Sorry I couldn't think of anything better, but that at least might save your groceries :)

They have safety locks that have two adhesive pieces and you stick one side to the fridge and the other to the door and there is a strap that locks the whole thing together. You do not put it on the door handle and it will fit any fridge. BTW, I have one and it works very well.
Be thankful for what you have.
They use to make a fridge lock that stuck to the door (not the handle) on one end and the other end stuck to the side of the fridge. In the middle had a clip (like on a car seat) that you used to open the door. Haven't used one in about 11yrs, but that would work. There very hard to open.

My son did this and worse when he was younger. Nothing was safe from him, I even woke up one morning to find him on top of the refrigerator. He used a chair to climb up. Very scary cause that's where I keep all the medications. (yes, 2 yr old can do this, lol...3 of my 5 were very good climbers.)
I had one child, my dd who liked to escape on me. She'd go right out the front door. We ended up putting locks on the doors leading outside way up high were she couldn't get at them.
I'd also worry about the child getting inside the refrigerator and getting stuck with the door closing.
The easiest and best thing to do is get an eye-lock for her bedroom door. Wait until she falls asleep at night then shut and lock the door. I did this with my son. It was the only thing that worked.
Make sure her room is baby safe and you keep a baby monitor in there before you do this. The monitor will allow you to hear her when she wakes up and you'll be able to go to her right away.
good luck :-)
