ETSY SELLER "BellaBeJeweled" WARNING and help request if you know how to deal with this.
So back in June, I ordered from Etsy. Three pieces of jewelry totaling about $60. After about 2 months I tried to contact the seller. Heard nothing. Finally I left negative feedback. Then she contacts me. She had received the items back "return to sender" and wanted to know if I had trouble getting my mail. Uh, NO! And if you got them back WHY didn't you contact me?? So she wanted me to change my feedback and then she would resend my items. I told her I wasn't comfortable with that. That she already had my money and my items that if I changed my feedback then I would never see the jewelry. She said she would "take a photo" of the items and show they were all ready to be shipped and ship them immediately after I changed the feedback. Well I agreed to that, against my better judgement. But its been months again and she has yet to even send a pic. (So she does still have negative feed back since I haven't got proof she even has my items) Which by the way, when asked, she couldn't supply a pic of my previous package that she "sent" to prove to me that it had been sent and returned. I contacted ETSY. They sent her an automated letter saying I wanted my items. BIG DEAL! She hasn't responded to that in a month. I don't know what else to do. I want my money back! Clearly the seller doesn't have the items I purchased. So where can I go and what can I do now??
there is no contact information to talk directly to someone representing etsy?? That really sucks I am very sorry! Some people are just jerks :( I am actually just starting to sell some stuff on etsy and I am really worried because people can be quite crazy :(
Send her a message and tell her she has 48 hours to go mail your stuff and email you with the tracking number and if she doesnt you will contact your bank to reverse the charge.
then if she doesnt follow thru contact your bank and have them dispute the charge. If you tell them you ordered something online and never recieved it they will open an "investigation" kind of and then in a couple days they will return the money.
