Ok so my granmother is paying me $50 a week to come into her house and clean once a week. Today wil be the first day. I just want a few ideas of what you ladies would like to have cleaned in your home. I mean i am planning on doing the normal things. Kitchen, bathrooms, clutter, floors, laundry, and vaccuum. I am fine with doing whatever she wants, but what would YOU want done at your house?

BTW my grandma is only 60 and she is fully capableof doing her own house work but she says she is too lazy, so that is why she is paying me

Dusting. I hate dusting. Too damn tedious.

And walls.

I would want the bathrooms, kitchen, vacuuming, dusting.   I wouldn't expect you to do laundry or wash dishes.

A friend of mine's cleaning service does this, and I wish mine did, but they don't.  My friend leaves a clean set of sheets on each bed and they strip the old sheets and put the clean sheets on and make the bed up nice.  The dirty sheets get gathered and put in the laundry room.  SOOO nice.

Another idea is this - set aside 15 minutes each visit to do one "extra" thing that's above and beyond the norm.  It could be organizing a cabinet, cleaning out the fridge, vacuuming out the car, whatever...  or you could get in the habit of asking "what one extra thing would you like me to do today?"

Good luck and peace,

Kat

Maybe you should ask your grandma what she wants you to do. or what is important to her that it gets cleaned.

if it were me i would want the bathrooms and kitchen cleaned first because of the bacteria in thou areas and then go onto other rooms if you had the time.

I really need to learn organization.

I worked for Merry Maids once ....the big thing with them was cleaning the ceiling fans and the blinds each time we went in..........and we had to make sure there was no streaks on anything...the faucets, mirrors etc....

As for me I would be happy to clean the freaking mess myself if someone would watch the kids long enough for me to accomplish anything....
