I was just in the mood to hear some awsome stories. lol. So go ahead, let us know how you met your SO.
I met Ryan in middle school. Yes, he was my first bf. Then a friend of mine told me he cheated on me so I broke up with him and acted like a complete b-word. So for pretty much my first half of high school i hated Ryan and he hated me. The thing is, it wasn't because of the cheating thing anymore- we seemed to get pleasure in hating eachother. He then left to Cali for a year and I got back in touch with him when I needed to lie and say i had a bf...Ryan. We started talking again and figured it all out. We ended up dating, got married and everything. The funny thing is, when I was little i use to say i wanted to marry someone and like in the movies, not be able to stand them. I never thought I'd actually marry Ryan when I thought I hated him lol.
So what are your stories ladies?
met my dh in highschool. hes was very popular and i was known by all but not liked by all. i was a bit of a bitch in hs but i needed to be at the school i attended. anyways he graduated 2 yrs before me. he found out i had a crush on him my senior yr and he took me to my prom. we talked every once in a while then 2 months after prom he got in a really bad car accident and after that we were inseperable. never thought i would even stand a chance with him in hs. 5 yrs later married, have a son ,and more in love than ever.
That's awsome. I've met a lot of moms who met their SO in hs, or when they were really young. Funny isn't it?
Sept 11 1995. Third day of my freshman year of high school. A friend and I had been checking out the new to the school guys. She wrote a note saying she though Jon and Troy were hot. I did not want to get in trouble so I quickly scribbled back I thought Troy was too...I hadnt really seen him but I picked that name because my sister had just started dating a guy named Troy. She wrote back that she was going to ask him out for me...lol yeah typical high school. I said fine. Well she did and he said yes. We have been inseparable ever since.
My sister also married her Troy and the also have they same BIRTHDAY!! (except the year)
We met and first dated in jr high, at 13. He moved 6 hours away that summer and we kept in touch and stayed friends. We would see eachother when he came back to visit family. We dated other people, but no one ever compared. Senior year I asked him to my prom. He accepted, took the train down but we never made it to prom. Instead we stayed all weekend in a hotel room together (that my parents got for us - they were crazy I think! LOL) We've been together ever since, did a long distance thing for almost 2 years before I finally moved to be with him. Now 8 years later, married for 4, and expecting our 4th baby we are still happily in love :))
I met dh when I had just turned 15 in hs. We have been together since..........November 30th will be 7 years of us "being together" We have been married for a while too LOL Got married at 16......... :)
I met my husband at work. I thought he was so cute and after just staring at him all day for a week I asked him out. I said " do you want to go for coffe sometime" he said "no, no like coffee" so I asked him out again. "do you want to maybe go for dinner" he said "no, no like dinner"....lol I thought he was a total jerk and told everybody on my assembly line that he was until a nice lady told me that he was from Russia and didn't speak any English. So I learned a couple of words and said goodnight to night to him in Russian for a couple of days when he said "casino.....you like casino?"....lol We hung out everyday at work and after that. We got married a year later and now his English is excellent. BTW I never heard an accent when I met him so if that lady wouldn't have told me I would have had no clue and just shrugged him off as a jerk...lol Tomorrow is our 8 year wedding anniversary.
We met 9 years ago while I was working at a local gas station and he was still in high school (he's 2 years younger than me). We started chatting every time he would come in and we become fast friends. We've been best friends for 9 years and just started dating over the summer. 3 weeks after we started dating I got pregnant. We have hopes that our relationship will eventuatly lead us to our happily ever after, baby included. I love him to death and hate when he's away because he's in the military and not based in state.
I was working at subway, so was DH brother. He came to see his brother ( he just moved back home after a year at college) I looked out the window and said "oh I need to ask Mike a question" ( to go see who he was talking to!) So I did Mike introduced us. I walked back in and told my friend " I will marry him one day!" I guess when I went in he told his brother "I will marry her one day!" LOL we didn't find that out til our wedding night! So anyway he came up to my work every night after that to see Mike or so he said. and a we were joined at the hip. Started dating a month later and got married a year later on our 1 year ann! I was only 17. and now 9 1/2 years later we are still madly in love!
