So I'll try to keep this short as I can. My MIL who is the most awesome MIL anyone could ask for, found out Friday that she has a tumor on the side of her head. It is not in her brain, but is pushing on her brain. She has to go for surgery on Monday. It will be a 8-12 hour neurosurgery. She is the mother to 6 biological and 4 step children (who don't consider her "step"). Her youngest is only 15. She is the type of woman that is always so worried about everyone else and their needs that she often goes without.
What I'm asking of all of you is to please pray to whomever you pray to and send as much good karma her way as possible. We NEED this surgery to go well, and for her recovery to be quick. The surgery starts at 8 am eastern time and will last most of the day, if you can please take a second to think of her and send good wishes her way. Thank you to all who can take the time to help.

That is her on the right.
Update#1- Should be starting soon if not already. Please let this go well. Now it's just a waiting game for the next 8-12 hours... By the end of the surgery we will all be at the hospital so I will update in the morning.
Update #2- She was out of surgery by 11am!! The doctors said it went very easy, alot easier then they thought. She is now at 4pm back in her room. Neuro exam is normal, she's just drugged up on pain meds so a little sleepy. Thanks for the good thoughts everyone! So far everything is going great!!!
I am praying for your family and lifting you up... keep us updated.. and good luck
