okay, I am always open to watching other peoples kids on demand. I dont usually care, I am all for it and love to help out. But you know the one time I actually need a baby sitter and go out to watch a movie I never have any body to watch them for me. To be straight up honest, I dont have anyone to even take my kids for me while I am in the hospital having my baby. I might have to bring my youngest with me and set up the play pen in there, and make my oldest's dad take him. And that is still a hard thing to do. I had people set up then they bailed. This is very frustrating. I am always open when people need me, why do I not get that same respect? Irritates me!!! I just want to go see a movie with my hubby today, I cant even tell you the last time I have been to the theatre, for god sakes I cant even tell you the last time I have gone out with my hubby alone.

awwww that sux, where do you live I will come watch them for you?

I know how you feel tho I very rearly can get someone to watch my kids for me, no one likes to take care of my disabled son so its hard to get a sitter.Once in a blue moon I can get my dad to but not often.

In 10 years I have NEVER been to the movie with my DH. My in-laws are the only peopple to watch my kids. My parents & sisters would but they live so far away. I would stop bailing people out unless it is an absolute emergency

That's how it is for me too. Just sucks!

I'm not sure when you are due but I know right now/until the Spring probably the hospitals around here aren't allowing kids in AT ALL unless they're sick! I understand why but it's a little crazy too. A friend of mine had her baby last week and her 3 little girls couldn't meet their sister until they got home from the hospital. Hopefully someone will step up and help you out when you've helped them out so much!!

Yes we CAN and Yes we DID!!!!

I live in Idaho!! I totally know what you mean, I have a 7 yr that I have a hard time finding sitters for cause not many like him. He is ADHD and very hard to handle. SO I can relate!!

I really know how you feel!  The only people I can rely on to keep my kids when I need them are my parents and they live 2 1/2 hours away from me.

I asked my MIL to keep the kids while I had one of my doctor appts...they were checking to see if I was dilated...and she forgot and wasn't home when I went to drop them off.  I called her cell phone and she said that she was in town shopping and would be home in 30 minutes.....I didn't have 30 min to get to my dr office, so I called my hubby and he went with me.

they just changed everything back to the standard visitations except for the NICU.... so that helps

I usually take them everywhere too.  I just didn't want to answer the questions that my oldest two would have had, so when I had the opportunity to leave them for that appointment I took it!  LOL  My husband kept them in the waiting room.
