I dont want to take my son, i'd rather post-pone it a few months because alot of people are sick with the flu , so i dont want to expose him to sick ppl in the DR office unless its absolutley neccesary. Also does anyone else do this?

It depends on what vaccine schedule the pediatrician follows.  There are certain ones that have a window that they can be given.  MMR and Varicella can be given at either 12 or 15 months.  Usually kids get the final dose of HIB and Prenvar at 15 months.  And they also get a dose of DTaP.  You can google the CDC's schedule and find out what he might need.  You do not have to get any vaccine at a particular time.  You can delay it as long as you wish.  It doesn't matter what the doctor says, it's your choice.

My son had his 15-month appointment last Friday and got the MMR, Prevnar, and a flu shot.  I'm sure everyone's schedule is a little different though.

My son's pediatrician's office does 18 month shots, not 15. So, I think it'd be fine to delay
