I found this a few months ago and have been meaning to try it, I'm glad you reminding me! I may make these tomorrow! :-)

1 box any variety, any flavor cake mix (I like Betty Crocker yellow cake, chocolate, or spice)
2 eggs
1/4 cup vegtable oil (canola works fine too)

preheat oven to 350 degrees
mix together in a bowl until dough forms
scoop spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
remove and let stand for a few minutes

***tips- I cover my baking sheet with foil to reduce clean up, I role my my spoonfuls of dough in sugar to make them more attractive. :) And I find that if I remove them a little after the 1o minute mark, they are softer and more chewy.

I haven't made them, but I know the Fun-fettie cake mix has a recipe on the side of the box. I've been thinking about giving them a try sometime.

I tried making some last week.  But I think my oven is crap because some were over-done and some where under-done.

I love the one where you use devils food cake mix, oil, eggs and sugar.  I don't know the exact recipe without looking it up, but you use the first three ingredients first.  Then roll them into small balls, then roll in sugar.  When they are cooked the sugar adds a shine, and is really pretty.

MMM. Good idea. My husbands birthday is on tuesday and I am making him a custom cake for work so instead of making another cake for home I may just make red velvet cokkies!! Yummy!
