Just a vent cause I am sooo sick of my DH getting pissed at me every night because I dont like to cuddle when I am trying to fall asleep! I have no problem cuddling after sex and any other time, but when its time to sleep I just wanna lay on my side and sleep. Im really claustrophobic and I feel like Im being pinned down when he has my arm over me and I cant get comfortable, I think it is sweet that he wants to cuddle but damn get over it, Im sick of explaining myself every night! Anyone else have this problem? What position do you sleep in? Am I being a bitch? Thanks ladies!
Been married 14 years and my hubby still complains I wont cuddle...I'll tell him to roll over and I put 2 fingers on his back...thats as good as it gets..I am NOT a cuddler...He might get over it..or not...but thats not your fault...You gotta do what you gotta do to be able to sleep!!!!...(Hubby laughed and smacked me when he read this to..LOL..He KNOWS !!!!)

But my husband after 7 years has learned ways to cuddle and Still leave me Able to relax He drapes his arm over my More toward my hip tho so i dont feel confined other wise i freak out. He has learned to deal with it and i Love him so much for it

Yep, same here! I get the best sleep when DH is on the rig, and that really stinks. And to make matters worse, when HE falls asleep cuddling, I am STUCK on the edge of the bed. And 9 months pregnant, Im not a happy camper in the morning. We just got a new king size bed yesterday (from a queen) <- that sounds funny, like we got it from a queen. haha, you know what I mean. Anyways, last night he was grumpy when we went to bed and I said "How do you like the bed?" and he said "Its too big, I dont have any excuse to hold you anymore.", which made me sad in a way, but I woke up sooo much better this morning after being able to get some good sleep last night. I dont know what to tell you, my DH is very touchy feely, and Im not. I compromise with just about everything else, but my sleep is important to me!
I actually had the opposite problem but we found a solution that might work for some others. I felt like I needed to be cuddled as I was drifting off to sleep but dh said it was hard for him to sleep that way. We had some conflict over that but finally came up with a compromise that worked. He agreed to cuddle with me for a few minutes and then we would separate and have our nights sleep. I felt like he listened to my needs and the five minutes of cuddling was a gift because he did it for me. Anyway, that worked for us.
I kind of have the same problem too. My husband wants to cuddle, but he wants me to face him when we cuddle at night, but I am just too hot to do that. I don't mind cuddling if my back is to him, but I just can't do it face to face, with breathing on each other. He gets frustrated, but I have to do the same thing as you, explain to him every night that i just can't fall alseep that way.
