Can I file taxes on my girls that get SSI? Do you know anything about it? I was told I couldn't in Arkansas but we live in Kentucky now. Does it matter what state you live in? Any advice would be appreciated! If you don't know, please BUMP!!!! Thanks!!!

SSI is a not taxable income. If you are talking about your federal taxes, it is the same in ever state.

I am not sure exactly what you are asking. You claim your children as dependants on your taxes. You do not file a separate return for them. You do not report the SSI as income.
So, as long as you can claim them as dependants, you file and claim them just like normal.
This.
And you can go to handrblock.com if you want to find out about what your return will be.. they will ask you the questions you need to answer to find out the amount.
