how many hours did you work?

if you have had a full time job while pregnant were you able to work full time through your entire pregnancy? or did you have to cut back your hours?

right now i am working 30-35 hours a week at one of my jobs and 20-25 hours a week at my other job...

its many many hours, but im looking forward to saving up for baby gabriel when he gets here..

at both jobs, i am on my feet my entire shifts with a fifteen minute break once a week. sometimes i have a day off, and soemtimes i dont..

is it going to be bad for him working this much my entire pregnancy? i dont not want to do anything that will harm him... hes the most important person in my life right now.

please, id really appreciate the advice..

I was active duty army while I was pregnant with my twins.  I was put on strict bedrest at 13 weeks, however up until that point I did PT everyday and did my reg duties working in the warehouse as a SGT.  Even after I was put on strict bedrest I would still stop in and take care of some of my duties that were assigned only to me.

With my DS I worked up until the day I had him(at 26 weeks).  I worked 40+ hours a week, I was a Federal Officer at Nasa, was a patrol officer, but was also on my feet alot. With this pregnancy I had to stop working at 18 weeks, due to my cervix being 100% efface and I needed a cerclage, I have been on strict bed rest since.

I worked until 4 days before givng birth and I was 2 weeks over due. I didn't cut back, I was on my feet all day, I had to put the delivery away every week (DH stepped in most of the time, but I liked to do it myself!)
In the first trimester and part of the second, I worked 16 hours a day, 7 days a week. That was because it was the summer time. Then winter hit and it was 10 hours a day, 7 days a week.

I worked for two of my pregnancies.  I worked full time 40+ hours both times.  I was 20 the first pregnancy and 30 the second.  I worked until my due date which was twelve days before I finally delivered my first and 3 days before I delivered my second, two weeks early.  I had no problems and they were large babies.  The first was 9lbs 8 3/4oz 23 1/2 inches and the second she was a monster at 11lbs 11 1/2 oz 22 inches.  I did have trouble standing straight up the last two weeks with the second one but that was simply because of her size.  My third I could not work at all.

I worked about 10 hours a week right up until the day my son was born.  I did childcare so I was carrying kids, playing tag and hide and go seek, running around, etc.

I would say you are fine because although I wasn't working much and I'm not working this time being a mom is a 24/7 job and some days I don't get a break AT ALL from being on my feet.  I also watch a 2 year old so yeah you should be fine :)

I worked 8-10 hr days 5 days a week until a week before my scheduled c-section with both kids.  I have a heart condition and pregnancy was REALLY hard on me.  I was supposed to be on bed rest.  But, staying at home in bed is NOT for me!

I did have placenta abruption  with my second when I was 2 months pregnant.  I did take a little time off.  I would stay in bed for a few days until the bleeding stopped...then work a few days until it started again.  But, after month 4 I went back to work full time...with overtime.
