Being Insecure

From my recent posts I have had quite a few replies stating that I am insecure.  And I am not ashamed to admit that I am.  I grew up in a bad enviroment.  Had no parental support/ guidance.  My sisters, yes my sisters have always made fun of my feet and my face (cleft lip and palate) alsong with a lot of classmates.  So being told things you all know you may start to believe them.  I am in counseling for this and on medication.  I do not come on here looking for any sugar coating or acceptance.  Only to ask opinions because I do not personally know any of you so I know you'll be honest.  I am on here for support/advice/whatever.  So I just wanted to post this.

I know how you feel.

I've been overweight my whole life. Not only did the other kids make fun of me--but so did my parents and siblings. It's much worse when it comes from family.

I used to be very insecure. I've overcome a lot of it, though I do still have days where I "slip" back into the insecure person I used to be. It's a long and difficult struggle....but, I hope you can find some way to overcome it.

Who's telling you your insecure? And I doubt there is a woman on here who hasn't had an insecure feeling or moment in their lives. So who cares? Ignore it. And try your best to stay positive.

eh..the bad thing about having a bunch of us women in one spot is that at any given time we are a mix or pregnant, hormonal, irritated, sex deprived and stressed sooooo needless to say there are always the hand full that would jump on anybody for anything. I know its easier said than done but dont take what everyone says to heart on here, the ones on here tonight being snappy will very likely be the ones in a few days who are supportive it seems lol :P

sweetie every single person on here has insecurities and the bashers have them worst of all...

you don't ever hate what isn't a part of yourself, so the people that are bashing are just seeing a veiled mirror of themselves and not liking what they see...

that has nothing to do with you so don't take offence...

Well you feeling like that is normal. Everyone has at least one insecurity. Don't let anyone try and bring you down more than you feel at times.  I would feel that way to. I have had bad acne for the last year. Man I can't even leave the house at times. some people are born "perfect looking" but I guarantee they got something else going on under there.  It's ok to feel that way as long as it is not controlling your world. which I can say it doesn't because you have all your pretty pix up and you dress nice and all that. Trust me it is ok.

Sweetie, You don't have to defend yourself. Truth be told, we all are insecure. I know I am. Don't worry about what some people on here say.

I think you are beautiful. I went and looked at your pics and you look awesome in your black dress. I don't understand why adults feel the need to be jerks. Some people just need to grow up.
