Isabells cord fell off at 9 days old now there is blood.

my dds cord fell off two or three weeks after she was born cause no one told me how to really dry it up and get it to come off. She had that and it had to be caterized... (spelling)
This happened to my son, and it actually would bleed a teeny bit... for about 2-3 weeks. Went to the doc and he said as long as it wasnt bleeding more, then it was fine.
I'm a vaxing, circing, disposable diaper using, bf switched to ff, CIO sometimes, pushed 1hr before a c-section (and don't regret it), college graduate, loving my son, can't wait to have another baby, trust your own judgement, kind of mom.
My sons fell off and had a bit more than just a little blood. It wasn't a hole per say, but he has an outie that looked really bad and it needed more care than i could provide. His doctor put silver nitrate on it to cauterize it. I would keep an eye on it and take him in sooner if it starts looking suspicious, otherwise I'd just wait til Wednesday to have the doctor look at it.
That happened with my daughter. The doctor said there was ni need to use rubbing alcohol on it like I did with my first two. I did occasionally, but not the majority of the time. For the first few days after it fell off there was a little blood on her diaper where it rubbed on the belly button. I just cleaned it with alcohol and it is fine now.
Part of Sean's fell off early but there was a little piece still on and that is what his doctor put on it just to help the rest dry up more quickly. It stained his shirt he was wearing that day LOL.
