Do you believe that Whites face racism as well as any other race?

With the post asking if "White Pride" is okay, I was wondering if other's believe that racism is universal against all races or if it is included to those not of the Caucasian race. How do you women feel about this?

Do you believe that reverend Jesse Jackson is not driven by racial disgust for Caucasians, and if you believe he is do you think its okay because he is targeting whites?

It depends on your definition of racism.  They can certainly face discrimination.

anybody can experience racism.  it's not like the dictionary defines "racism" with an "except white people" disclaimer.

It all depends on who you are and where you are... as a white american girl I faced some big racists in the town in Germany I lived in... they took pride in calling my friends and I "stupid fat americans" and one of us was a German citizen!  She wasnt even American but rather German and friends with us.. she def set them in their place.

I'm a vaxing, circing, disposable diaper using, bf switched to ff, CIO sometimes, pushed 1hr before a c-section (and don't regret it), college graduate, loving my son, can't wait to have another baby, trust your own judgement, kind of mom.

ABSOLUTLY, just as much as any other race!! We just have no one to turn to and no one to speak up for us....and I am sure I will get bashed for my answer because there is and always will be a double standard!

And Jesse Jackson...he is a shit starter. I have asked several AA friends of ours about Jesse Jackson and they don't like him. To each their own.

There is an institutional definition of racism and then a more individual definition.  So, it depends on how each person defines racism.  On an institutional level, whites do not face racism in this country because they are the majority and hold the power. On and individual level, yes...they can experience racism.

I don't know a lot about jesse jackson so I can't answer that part but yes, I do believe that other races can be and are racist against whites.

Yes. I think it also depends a lot on where you live. I can tell you for a fact that white people are discriminated against in my neighborhood. Its very sad but I think ALL races have to deal with it in one way or another. I always believe in this day and age people would be so much more accepting of each other.

Ha! Made you look!

not gunna get into the reverand, but of course whites get targeted with racisim. iv had it thrown my way, mostly by looks from people when they've seen me with a black man.  but yes it exists-thats where  ''white girl'', cracker, honkie-and all that came from.

i dont let ignorance get to me tho. if people wanna be so low as to judge on skin complection then they seriously arent the kind of people i want to associate myself with. i try not to get angry when i witness racisim at any nationality, its easier on one's self to feel pitty on those people and to pray for them. but maybe thats just me.
