Anyone else gearing up for a week of insanity???

This week is going to be nuts and I am taking every chance I get to gather up all the sanity and patience I need to make it through.  LOL

Today and tomorrow will be heavy cleaning and packing days.

Wednesday I will be baking all day.  My sister (who I haven't seen in 5 years) and her kids are also coming over Wednesday.

Thursday we are having a 1pm dinner with my parents.  Mom wants me there no later then noon.

After dinner we are heading to Maryland's Eastern Shore (about 2 1/2 hours from us) to my sister in-law's house.

We will be there from Thursday evening to Sunday afternoon which should be interesting.  There are 8 people, 2 cats and a dog in her family.  There are 5 in mine...so 13 people, 2 cats and a dog under the same roof.

Friday I am apparently going shopping with my sister in-law.  Did I mention I despise Black Friday and that I don't do well with crowds?

Saturday is Thanksgiving dinner at my sister in-laws.  Her fiance has to work Thanksgiving, hence the postponed dinner.

ahhh...the one relief of living overseas..don't have to worry about all the craziness the holidays bring.  yeah..we're having another family over for dinner...but everything is purchased, so just the next 2 days cleaning the house for thursday (it's already monday night here).  I'm just ready to start decorating for christmas!

Our tradition is to decorate for Christmas on Black Friday (because I despise Black Friday and won't go out) but now we have to wait....I kind of want to do it Sunday when we get home but I may be pushing my luck.  LOL.

We don't have much storage space in our apartment here (even thought it's bigger than our house in the states)..so we left all of our Holiday decorations in long term storage back home (all holidays..halloween, christmas, etc)...so we ordered a 6' tree online and picked up just a few small decorations...It's just crazy..our apartment is 2400 sq ft. and doesn't have a closet big enough to hold our suitcases..ugh.

Our week is going to be crazy....but NOT because of Thanksgiving.  LOL  We are currently visiting DH's family in RI; but will be driving away from here this morning to go to New Jersey.  From there we have to unload all of us(me, dh, and 2 ds) our 8 suitcases and 2 carseats at the hotel.  Then DH has to take our van and get it SPOTLESS so that he can get it shipped.  Then tomorrow evening we fly out of Newark; moving to Germany!  We'll land on Wednesday morning(Germany time); and from there we still don't know if we will be in Frankfurt for the long weekend or if DH will get inprocessed and then we'll be sent to our new base.

2400 sq ft sounds gorgeous.  LOL  I was looking at the housing we'll get in Germany.....a 3 bedroom(what we qualify for) ranges from 881 sq ft to 1100 sq ft.  THAT is gonna blow.
