My Mom Is A Friggin' GENIUS!!!

So, sometimes my little guy gets so tired that he fights sleep...and we all know how that turns out: one cranky little child...and that's no fun.

So, one day I was telling my mom about this. I told her that he's full, he's got a clean diaper, he's burped, he's snuggly in his blankets...but still wont fall asleep and he is cranky as all get out.

She told me to put him in his stroller and walk with it around my apartment and he might fall asleep.

Well, it worked...it doesn't always work...but it usually does.

And right now, I am sitting my ass on CM, pushing his stroller back and forth with my foot and he is sound asleep!

What is some advice you got that worked wonders? It can be about anything, not just about kids...

my daughter had gerd and a few other problems so sleep was non existent for months., until my niehgbor lady suggested taking a floor pillow and propping up her crib mattress a bit and making a damn of blankets so she didn't slide. She slept for more then 5 minutes for the first time!@ I was elated, and her dr said yes that is exactly what should have been done! I was like why didn't you tell me then? lol

I try every single time he gets like that and no matter how tight I do it, he is a little wiggle worm and squirms his way out...he hates it...

My oldest liked the vacuum running....I'd just start vacuuming her room and after about 5 min she was out!

I used to walk back and forth holding my daughter and humming "the ants go marching one by one" ....the humming and sound of my heart, usually put her right to sleep!

My youngest used to sleep in the bouncy seat with the vobration on... or I'd put them in the car and drive around the block... (From what I'm told it worked for me when I was a baby too!)

my  son was a total swing babie lol  he slept in that thing for the first few months of his life until it broke Lol nothing else worked and he was so content in the swing i figured eh...what the hell lol my 1st son had colic(i think he still does he's 3) so sleep was something we just did without, the one thing that did soothe him was white noise.
