Did / Will you abstain prior to your wedding?

So I went to a friend's wedding yesterday and when we went out for a smoke-break she was talking about how excited she was for that night because they had not had sex in over a month...she said it was going to make that night a little extra special.

What do you think? Would you do this? Did you do this? Could you do this?

would it (or did it) make a difference?

With my now husband we had talked about abstaining for maybe a week.

That became 5 days :-)

then 3 days

then at least one night...

then I jumped him on the day of the wedding before we left to get ready :-)

I blame pregnancy hormones :-)

I don't really think it would have made things more special anyway...I was marrying the man I love...how could it get better?

That's funny. No we did not wait til our wedding day then again we didn't have a wedding.

We did the whole JOP thing and the day before im almost positive we definitely had sex. 

I will be planning our vow renewal soon. Will we wait then? Maybe.. Just by a couple days though. But with his drive, I doubt that'll happen.

I honestly can't remember. We lived togetehr, owned a home....so I would guess we were together. But who can remember that long ago, lol.

We did the whole court house thing, and no we didnt wait. Didnt really see the point. We are going to be sealed in the Temple though, it is our 2 year goal, not sure if we will wait then. If we do it will most likely be because we are just too busy,lol. Same reason we dont do it now,lol.

we abstained for 6 mo. and yes it did make it more special on our wedding night and honeymoon.

Hubby and I have never been able to keep our hands off each other... So no we didn't wait at all... But both of us being military at the time I was being sent to another base the DAY OF our wedding... We got married and then didn't see each other for a month... We did it a little backward I know. But they wouldn't give us leave or anything... But they did wait til the day of the wedding to move me...

Me and my husband did this!!! we didnt have sex for a month before our wedding.  Actually on our wedding night i fell asleep before we could do it lol but he was sure to wake my ass up

lol no we did not wait. We lived together for two years first and we both love sex way to much to want to deny ourselves it..not that there is anything wrong with the people who do but its just not for us.
