sucking his thumb...piog

so my 19 month old son, ive noticed, is starting to suck his thumb, anyone have any suggestions on how to stop this before it becomes a habit.

If it's a comfort, why take it away?  My daughter has been doing it since she was 3 months, and is almost three and has no problems with her teeth.  If you are that concerned, they have stuff you can put on their thumbnails that tastes nasty.
