My 4, 6, 8, 12 yr old and I all have H1N1 and have never been so miserable. Any suggestions to make the kids feel more comfortable? Of course I know there is not much we can do but I was looking for some maybe comfort tea recipes etc. Yes, we have been to the dr. we have to wait it out, they are sleeping now but I am making some chicken soup for later but wondering if anyone has any good feel better ideas. Thanks.

I dont know what else to tell you besides stick with liquids thats what I do when I get the regular flu
I AM A SAHM OF 2 WONDERFUL CHILDREN. LOVING WIFE OF 2 YEARS. I BREASTFED SWITCHED TO FORMULA WITH BOTH OF MY CHILDREN. I BELIEVE IN CRYING IT OUT AFTER 2 MONTHS OLD, SPANKINGS WHEN NEEDED, I LET MY FAMILY EAT JUNK FOOD IF THEY WANT IT, GAVE MY DD'S WHOLE HALLOWEEN, AND EASTER BASKET TO HER TILL THE CANDY WAS GONE. I AM A SMOKER TRYING TO QUIT, DRINK ON OCCASION, LOVE TO COOK, MY HOME IS ALWAYS CLEAN "IF" SOME ONE SHOWS UP, NEVER LATE TO ANYTHING KIND OF MOMMY AND WIFE. ITS JUST WHO I AM.
Thanks, we have been on the typical popsicles, gatorade, jello soup. The coughs have set in hard now but they are all grossed out at the thought of tea. I have some apple/cinnamon tea and chamomille. Do you put powdered creamer in it or milk? My 4 yr old is up now and I am gonna make her some tea.

UGH that sucks mama.. My kiddos had it any my 7 yr old got it the WORST =( My 21 month old got it after her and she was pretty sick too and my 5 yr old just recently got it and all she had was a high fever for 3 days and some coughing and that was it. I just kept them hydrated and stock up on Tylenol and Motrin, Good Luck and hope you all feel better soon!
