My 21 month old has been puking all morning. Half the time there is nothing but foam and yellow stuff, ( I am sorry I know gross) But he wont drink anything, wont eat of course. But we have been up since 4 this morning and it is almost 8. We are both exhausted. Is there anything I can do to settle his tummy so we can both go back to sleep? I think it is called bile that he is puking up. I tried googling it, but have found nothing. Thanks!!

Try the BRAT diet..... Bananas, Rice, Applesause , and Toast!!!
Pedialyte is great too! I know some don't like it but it is great for dehydration. Also you need to get him in to the doctor. They might be able to give you something to settle his tummy. I hope he gets better soon!

Take him to the doctor. My oldest did this at 6 months old and the only thing they could do was give him a suppository. It sucked to watch, but he felt better so fast that it was worth it.

I tried to get him to eat bananas, and he wont, so I tried some applesauce, still refuses. Tried orange juice.. wouldnt do it. Tried regular water wouldnt even grab the cup. I would LOVE to avoid the doc if at all possible, I am 37 weeks prego and not excited about driving too much. (I am in hermit stage)
but dont get me wrong, before I get bashed... I would take my kid to the doc if I had to. Just tooo pregnant to just rush him off if I can take care of this at home!!

Take him to a doctor. When my son was puking they gave him a pill that actually dissolved on his tongue to help stop the puking. And it worked great. I hope he feels better!
I agree with the PPs if he won't drink at all then he should go see the doctor... Sorry to hear he isn't feeling well, he is probably just throwing up on an empty stomach - which is painful poor guy. Pedialyte is good, and dry toast. I'd still call him an appointment just in case. Hope he feels better soon.
