This stupid lady adopted a cat out to us that was completely feral! He clawed us up and refused to eat for 4 days and use the potty! I CALLED her to come and get him because he was TOO dangerous for my kids! She posted this on craigslist!
I recently adopted a kitten out to Jessica,Medical drive. She ASSURED me they had experience with a difficult cat before.I warned her that he had never been exposed to children, they assured me it would be allright.Acted real nice when I got there, sat and petted the kitten and I left feeling he would fit in there.A few days later she called and said he wouldnt eat,had not eaten since I dropped him off,and he was scratching the kids. When the little guy was picked up he was very thin,LOCKED IN A DARK CLOSET!!!! If your reading this Jessica, thats animal cruelty and against the law! He has started eating a little wet food, reverted back to nursing on his mom(age 3 months). So anyone with kittens,DO NOT ADOPT TO THIS PERSON.
He was not locked in the closet! There is no way to close the damn closet door ANYWAYS!! We got too many damn clothes. He refused to eat so we called her because we were concerned he was starving himself!! This was my response to her through email and craigslist: PS..she had someone else named Sara come and pick him up..she said that Sara wanted to adopt him but obviously this Sara couldn't even handle him and returned him AND he was nursing STILL when she brought him to me so it sure was NOT my fault.
How dare you write that! You should have done the adult thing and questioned me like an adult! He was not locked in a dark closet! The door has no way of closing because of all the clothes we have in there! He was hiding in there and refusing to come out and refusing to eat...THAT"S why we called you!! We were concerned!! If we didn't care we wouldn't have called you! We wanted him to eat and tried everything but we called you because we were concerned! We could have worked with a scared cat but he was more than scared...he was extremely violent to me and my husband.
I will be reposting this on Craigslist since you seem so adamant on calling me out in public for something that is not even true. Next time..do the adult thing and call me or perhaps you should have picked him up yourself and seen that he was NOT locked in a closet.

As a side note if you know you have a feral cat please do NOT adopt it out. Many people have been to my home and adopted animals from me because I also foster animals. I will also be contacting the Feral Cat Coalation to infrom the that Miss Betty is adopting out feral cats.
I would also like to thank the family that gave us a blessing named Missy on Thursday. She is a wonderful kitten and she loves my family and we love her. She is already quite spoiled and we have already gotten her Christmas gifts. She runs around all day playing with my boys and loves to cuddle. She especially likes to sleep on my neck. We got her a cute little pink collar and many toys. Thank you for her. She is an absolute blessing. I am sorry that Miss Betty was misinformed from Sara (the lady she had come pick him up and supposedly adopt him). I assure you she is not locked away in a closet.

I would flag her posting. What a psycho, if she thought there was a problem she should of called YOU instead of posting another ad on Craigslist.
Oh my goodness! Poor kitty! That sure was not nice of that lady to do that to you. And to post something on Craigs list is just not right! I see people on there that seem so childish. We were on there looking for a dog, and I could not believe the things that I seen.. Glad that you found a new kitty that fits in your family. Sometimes cats do not do well with some families and do really well with other families. Maybe the cat was scared of the children and so it was acting like it was.. That is just plain sad. I hope that the other kitty will find a nice new warm home for him/her..
WAHM of 2 cute and adorable boys! :)

be smart.. go to the pound and adopt a 1-3 year old cat.
for 120 bucks the thing will be fixed, have all of it's shots, and is usually microchipped.
you can't beat those prices.
what else you can't beat is the fact that between 1-3 that cat's personality is well established. the pound goes out of it's way to train those animals to make them adoption friendly.
good luck.. sorry you ended up getting screwed.
go to the pound.. i bet you walk away really satisfied.

We got our first cat from the pound 4 years ago and we still have her. We adopted another on from a wonderful family on Thursday and she is perfect in all ways! I just couldnt afford a huge adoption fee after paying the $250 pet deposit and with Christmas coming up.
