Solutions for morning sickness....I'LL TRY ANYTHING!!!
My morning sickness is seriously effecting my life. I'll wake up in the morning, throw up. Eat a few crackers and drink some water, throw up. Rest as much as I can, try eating a few more crackers, throw up. I just can't control it. I've even tried that Zofran and that doesn't even do much, I always end up throwing it up back up. I've tried having a few crackers before getting out of bed, doesn't work. I've tried my Lemon Head candy, since it worked with my first pregnancy...Doesn't work this time around.
I've already been to the hospital once for dehydration from throwing up so much, and that was just last week. I've only had morning sickness for two weeks.
I just don't know what to do anymore. My DH has the car during the week so I can't go out and buy anything to help. I'm just so tired of looking down the toilet.
In one of my other groups they suggested Sea Bands. I haven't tried it yet since my morning sickness isn't too bad. A lot of the other ladies said it worked for them. I know you said you didn't have the car, but maybe your husband can pick it up on the way home. I hope you find something that works.
so sorry hun. I tried making ginger tea with fresh ginger root and drinking ginger ale. sometimes it helps and sometimes it doesnt. I am not throwing up a lot, maybe once a week but only because I take myself to the bathroom and wait til it comes out. Most times I try to breathe and make the feeling go away lol.
My dr told me nausea is good. Lots of hormone is a good thing, means what needs to be happening is happening. lol. Hopefully your sickness will ease soon. I am 10w6d today and it's starting to slowly stop. My 24/7 sickness started at 6 weeks.
I don't know if I'm just odd but with all 3 of my pregnancies the only thing that helped is cold crunchy pickles. I think it was the salt. I used to sit in the hot shower and eat pickles, in bed and eat pickles, in the car...you get the idea. It worked though and I had morning sickness with my youngest 2 the entire pregnancy so that's a LOT of pickles. I hope you find something that works for you soon.

this is a huge controversy...but...marijuana helps a lot! makes you hungry and settles your stomach...i don't know where you live but in some states you can get a medicinal card for it so it's legal...also you don't have to smoke it..you can get it in foods or pills..
Oh, GOOD LUCK. Ive been peering into my toilet (which is looking a bit dirty too :P) since I was 5 weeks. (now 14 wks) And its getting worse instead of better. Here's my suggestions, they aren't working for me, but, maybe for you!!
*popsicles *ginger *any hard candy to suck on *preggo pops *sea bands *unisom *B6 *chamomil tea (sp) *broth *jello *lemonade/lemons
I am in the same boat! I have been sucking on lemondrops and caramel candies. Carbohydrates help too ( like potatoes). Have you tried lemon juice in water?
I can't stand smells these days. I get really sick when going to the grocery store.
GL
Okay no joke but if you get a fresh lemon and squeeze the juice in a glass and then drink it straight its supposed to help. Thats what my foster mom used to give me when i has the flu it worked wonders on it, and i also did it during my pregnancy and it worked wonders, the only thing that really did help.

I had morning sickness pretty bad too from my 8th week of pregnancy until week 13 I was in the hospital at least twice a week due to dehydration, it was so bad I couldn't keep anything down. Just the smell of foods made me gag. What did help for me was jolly rancher candy and sometimes sucking on ginger help too although I found it to be a nasty taste. What also helped was eating a cracker or a small piece of dry bread every 30 minutes so your stomach never is all empty. Also the doc prescribed me vit. b12 that I had to take 3 times a day and it worked a little. I know this sucks but hang in there momma it will get better.
