I finally sold something though my etsy store so first thing this
morning I made my way to the local post office here in Shelton. It is
not the biggest post office, but not too many people really go there
anyways.
So I am walking in and this woman goes FLYING past me with
a HUGE bag of packages, and almost runs right into the double stroller.
So
I get into the post office and she is just getting up to the counter,
and here I am with my small package that will take me a whole 30
seconds to mail, and she proceeds to empty this giant kohls bag.
15 packages later, 15 minutes go by, two whining kids, she is finally done. (There was only one person working at the counter.
Now, if I was her, I would have said, "Why don't you go ahead, I am going to be here for a while".
It
literally took me maybe 40 seconds to send my package, pay and make my
way out the door, just as she was getting into her car. So I strolled
slowly through the cross walk trying to make her wait.
I guess I shouldn't expect much less.
Hey! I'm a CT mom, too. I'm in the other valley (the CT River valley).
I go to the PO a lot because I have an online store (congrats on your esty sale, btw) and I'm always mailing out packages. I always let people go in front of me who have far less than I because I've been in your shoes and it's so friggin annoying. Hello? What kind of person makes a woman with two babies wait for anything??
People are a-hols. Love how you walked slowly, I would have done the same thing.
Not only that but my poor little guys aren't feeling so hot either.
I am never amazed by people?

Congrats on your fist sale. I hate the post office so I found a podunk town with a population of 20 and their own post office. No one is ever there. Its great.
