Top 10 Signs You're A Fundamentalist Christian

www.evilbible.com - What do you think?

Top Ten Signs You're a Fundamentalist Christian

10 - You vigorously deny the existence of thousands of gods claimed by other religions, but feel outraged when someone denies the existence of yours.

9 - You feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from other life forms, but you have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt.

8 - You laugh at polytheists, but you have no problem believing in a Triune God.

7 - Your face turns purple when you hear of the "atrocities" attributed to Allah, but you don't even flinch when hearing about how God/Jehovah slaughtered all the babies of Egypt in "Exodus" and ordered the elimination of entire ethnic groups in "Joshua" including women, children, and trees!

6 - You laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans, and Greek claims about gods sleeping with women, but you have no problem believing that the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary, who then gave birth to a man-god who got killed, came back to life and then ascended into the sky.

5 - You are willing to spend your life looking for little loopholes in the scientifically established age of Earth (few billion years), but you find nothing wrong with believing dates recorded by Bronze Age tribesmen sitting in their tents and guessing that Earth is a few generations old.

4 - You believe that the entire population of this planet with the exception of those who share your beliefs -- though excluding those in all rival sects - will spend Eternity in an infinite Hell of Suffering.  And yet consider your religion the most "tolerant" and "loving."

3 - While modern science, history, geology, biology, and physics have failed to convince you otherwise, some idiot rolling around on the floor speaking in "tongues" may be all the evidence you need to "prove" Christianity.

2 - You define 0.01% as a "high success rate" when it comes to answered prayers.  You consider that to be evidence that prayer works.  And you think that the remaining 99.99% FAILURE was simply the will of God.

1 - You actually know a lot less than many atheists and agnostics do about the Bible, Christianity, and church history - but still call yourself a Christian.

I KNOW what my God ahs done for me--that's all that matters. I'm a Christian and proud of it. I believe every word of the Bible is true and when God said "Thou shalt have no other Gods before me", I listened.  He also said "Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess" There is ONE God and he died on a cross for all of us--whether you believe it or not. I don't criticize other's beliefs, I pray that they have a chance to hear the truth.  Some may say "How do I know my God is the truth?"--I just know. He wakes me up every day, he blesses me countless times  a day, he gave me my children, he saved my soul and my husbands and delivered my husband from alcoholism.

I pray that everyone who reads this will have to sit and think about how good God really has been to them especially those who want to say God is not real.

I believe in God. I'm disputing the Bible - which was written by men.

lol I love the little covered up part that mormons believe all black people are evil and stained with the darkness....

I think every religon has the perfectly sane people and the nutcases....

but it seems like if the name of your church starts with the word fundamental you will probably be one of the nutcases...

Yet another stereotype for Christians. Thank you!

I am Christian, I have never bashed or belittled others for their beliefs. It is each our own personal choice as to what belief system to follow. I think it is wrong for ANY religion or non-religion to be looked down upon or belittled.

I also think it is wrong to assume that every member of a peticular religion fits into the stereotype for the religion. It is IMO closed minded and to believe that.

IMO many non-Christians (not saying you are, just what I have personally experienced) inadvertently misconstrue the bible. Yes they "know" scripture, but that have not taken the time to truly study the bible in depth with an open heart. Most often they are only looking for things to mock and ridicule.

Oh, and every prayer is answered. It is just that sometimes the answer is no.
