this year we have five christmas's
Our house just us and the kids
My Mom's with just me and the kids df isn't allowed in her house (long story)
df's moms all of us
my grandmothers house
my step moms house
We're having 5 as well. One with just our family (the 4 of us), one with DHs family, one with my dad, one with my dad's side of the family, and one with my mom.
Well we are having two Thanksgivings.... On Christmas we'll go over DH's parents house in the morning for breakfast/presents. My parents will be visiting at that time so then we'll come back home, and have holiday dinner with them. DH is all about getting my parents, and his family all together, but I have no desire to deal with that stress.
2 Us with the kids and my parents come over later and another one with my grandmom, aunt joan, my mom and the kids again. (my grandmom and aunt live together)
When I was a kid I had 3 Christmases and got lots of presents at each house (I was an only child and an only grandchild at one of my grandparent's houses)
we will have christmas morning (actually on christmas eve when we have ss) then we will go to fil's on christmas eve also then we will go to church after fils' then we will drop ss off @ bm's then she has him christmas day but he will be back christmas night b/c its our wkend
we will be celebrating christmas day home in our jammies!!!
and i am hoping to go to my nanny and pop pop's for a christmas dinner or have them come here-- but just them and my nanny's sis -- i do't speak w/my parents so i won't go anywhere they are!!
