I really want fresh made peanut butter cookies right now but i can't find a single recipe that doesn't call for brown sugar! That is the one thing that I don't have right now. SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE

You can use white sugar in place of brown sugar theres not a big difference... I've done it before. For peanut butter cookies I usually just use peanut butter, eggs, sugar, and vanilla.
1 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
Mix it all together, and bake. I don't know how long it's "supposed" to bake for...but, I usually throw it in at 350 and bake maybe 7-8 minutes. They come out a little gooey, but that's how we like them. I don't know where, but my husband actually found that recipe.

I found this one...
Ingredients
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
- Combine ingredients and drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet. Bake for 8 minutes. Let cool. Recipe doesn't make very many, so you could double recipe as you desire.

dunno if it works but ya never know
Homemade brown sugar:
To 1 cup granulated sugar, add 2 Tablespoons molasses. Stir together until evenly mixed with a fork. After trying it once, vary it by using 1 Tablespoon molasses, using the dark molasses or the light molasses.

I have no idea but i am getting my favorite cookies tomorrow when i pick up my sister. She lives in home run by mennonites and they have a bakery. Of course everything they make is delicious but my favorite is their molasses cookies, yum.
I also found this one...
Ingredients
- 2 cups peanut butter
- 2 cups white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
- In a medium bowl, stir peanut butter and sugar together until smooth. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the baking soda, salt, and vanilla. Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place them 2 inches apart onto the prepared cookie sheets. Press a criss-cross into the top using the back of a fork.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

Looks like you need to do some test cookie baking, maddys mommy. Start with a regular cookie recipie, replace some of the butter or shortening with peanut butter. I'm sure your loved ones @ home won't mind being your taste testers for those extra cookies.
