So I was wondering, what kind of things are you offended by?

Have you been offended by something on CAFEMOM?

Do you think that we can help what offends us?

Can we really help or control how we feel?

Only once.  A woman came on saying if abortion is murder then miscarriage is suicide?  She was jumped on by almost every woman in the group and kicked out.

at first i was... then i realized how many idiots are on here. no offense to anyone! but there are some really misinformed people here with really strong beliefs.... now i dont let it bother me so much. cant think of any good examples...

Can't say I have been offended by anyone here, surprised sometimes be the degree of ignorance and hatred but not offended.  People tend to show their true selves when there is no real danger of repercussions and this forum is a prime example of that.

Most of the hot topic issues would never be discussed in the open with people to see what is really going on with a person they way they are when there is a computer screen and hundreds, maybe thousands of miles between you and the person your going after to separate you.  I seriously doubt most of the hateful and ignorant crap that is spewed here would be said in public IRL, many of the women on here would only whisper in the ears of their friends or be mute.

Never really been offended, but I can say that the only thing that really gets me pissed is when someone says that nursing past a year is child abuse, or done for sexual reasons or anything like that. Its such and ignorant stupid ass thing to say.

At first I was a little offended by some of the rudeness, then  I realized that some people are just overly opinionated.  Now I realize you can't argue with stupid.

Nothing offends me on CM, because I only come here for entertainment and I don't really care what a bunch of women that I will never meet have to type. I don't get offended in my real life either.

nothing offends me on CM, I don't take people on the internet serious enough to be offended. I find it hilarious that others do though especially when they can't understand sarcasm and carry on a pointless issue.
