Did you like him better when he was with Hootie and the Blowfish or now that he has gone country?  I love it that he has went country but I did love it when he was a Hootie (LOL).  My dad who just recently got into listening to country music at the ripe ol age of 63 LOVES Darius Rucker, I may have to get him the CD for Christmas.

I never really listened to him when he was with Hootie but for some reason that's how I knew him. Everytime he came on the radio I called him Hootie instead of Darius Rucker. I'm going to have go look it up and see how they were. But I love him.

I LOVE his newest album.  I was never a big Hootie fan (which was frowned upon in Columbia, SC lol) but I listen to his solo album all the time.  I love it.  My husband and I saw him in a small concert several years ago when he was doing R&B - that was a great show too.

I think he did well with rock and does just as good with country.

I like him now.

I will admit he seems HAPPIER now then he was when he was Hootie. i am sure he was happy doing what he was doing; but there seems to be a happier spring to his step these days. Anyone else notice that?
