PAIN PILLS! ANYONE TRIED THESE B4 DID THEY WORK??
OK heres the deal, i have back issues ALOT of back issues im in constant pain, i just got done haveing my 3rd set of epidural steroid injections, and it didnt ease the pain at all... well i called my dr today to have them call me in a script for my pain meds since i wont have enough to last until they reopen after the holiday, anyways they are callin me in a different med because im haveing to take more of the ones that im on now then what hes giving me per day, instead of 2 i sometimes have to take 3 or 4 a day! anyhow they are callin in a script for TRAMADOL, ive never heard of it b4 so i looked it up and what i found kinda scared me a bit! I cant function with out the pain meds, my legs stop working if i dont take em... have any of you ever been on this medication? did it work? what was your experience? i know everyone is different and they handle meds differently, i just kinda am lookin for a little insite!
my daughter has nerve damage in her leg and she takes tramadol. It works for her but makes her very sleepy
I have used this and it did help. Are they giving you the regular kind, or the ER? And what med are you switching from?
Im on Tramadol now after taking Lortab for a year and a half for lumbar arthritis. I have to take 2 at a time and sometimes another one before I go to bed. It works but its not as strong. Its a synthetic opiate and a lot of doctors use it to get you off of the narcotics because they wont write you scripts for them anymore, so they will give you tramadol to ease you. i basically take more of it but its all I can get to relieve my pain. I would try it out and if it doesnt work then talk to your DR and let him know that its not strong enough for you.
Tramadol does work however is has a HIGH risk if not definite risk of fetal deformation and death. I do not suggest taking it if you plan on TTC in the very near future or are not on BC of any kind. I can't take the pill anymore because it messes me up and I took these for TMJ and migraines and while they do work I couldn't risk something happening to any fetus while on this. Check out webmd or drugs.com for other reviews. Some of the side effects can be awful if you are affected.

They used to give me tramadol all the time.... for me it works great... they say that it will make you sleepy but it made me hyper....
