So this past weekend i took my daughter to a birthday party. i ended up catching the flu along with two of my other friends. our kids are not sick but what should i look for so that i am able to catch it early if she is sick????? By the way she's 10 months old.

breastfeeding I'm a huge fan of whipping out the boob! Lets feed our children!

Breast are actually for breastfeeding. Society makes breast sexual which makes mothers uneasy about feeding their children the way God intended for them to be fed. Remember that the breasts function are to feed our babies, not for a mans amusement.

First I am no doc but are you breast feeding?

Because if you are that should offer baby some of your antibodys

2nd you would soon know if baby was sick because she will not be herself She will be listless and grumpy to start with and every thing your feeling yourself

call your doc if your worried about her health

your pedi can give your DD Tamiflu so that she doesn't catch it from you.  When my DS had the flu, we all had to take tamiflu so that we didn't get sick.  Have you thought about getting her the flu shot?

Based on your signature, I'm assuming you are a breastfeeding mom.  Your baby will get all the antibodies she needs from your milk.   Just look for any fever or sudden changes in her behavior such as being overly fussy or not wanting to eat.   There's nothing to do even if she does get the flu other than to control the fever with Tylenol or Motrin and make sure she stays hydrated.
