Where did you get your degree? Have any of you did it online trough college network?

I reaaaaaally need to know. I am in LPN school, but going to enroll in RN soon. I need to make a decision and I need your help. Please share your experience.

I would not recommend getting your degree online. That doesn't sound good at all. Nursing school is so hands on and i would fear those students would miss out on the hands on aspect of it all.

I went to a local college and obtained my degree, i went straight for the BSN; been doing that for awhile and now took time off to go after my masters.

in school right now for my R.N.

Clark State Community College, baby!

I would ask your advisor about switching your major NOW. at ours, once you earn LPN, you must wait a year to transition to R.N.

I went to Minnesota State University for my BSN. For me, I needed the structure of the classroom.

I didn't think you could get an RN online. Aren't you required tro do clinicals your second year? I am planning on getting a BSN after my RN. my intent is to get a job when I am finished with my RN and use tuition reimbursement.

Yes you do..there are a lot of clinicals that you must do.

I didn't think you could do it online either. But apparently you can? I don't think i would be comfortable with a nurse who got her degree online; unless i am not understanding the OP..that would leave me so uneasy.
