If I get a script from my ob could I get whole milk for me? I know its high in fat, but high fat milk is better than no milk at all right? I will not drink anything lower because it tastes like ship... (mispelled that for a reason...) Also, how  am i supposed to find 48 oz things of juice, thats what it says on my voucher, and there arent 48oz jugs of juice.

I found the 48 ounce containers at Walmart in my area.  As far as the milk goes 2% really isn't that bad but I would never go any lower than that  :)  Good Luck!

No they will not give you whole milk. The only way they replace it is if you are allergic and then it can be soy. The juice they are talking about are the cans, like juicy juice. Most stores have a little sign to tell you what ones are acceptable. Wic also gives you a brochure that shows the brands you can get.

you would have to talk to your WIC agency.  here, i heard someone ask that same question and they said no if's, and's, or butt's...no whole milk for the mom at any point for any reason.

I don't know where you live but when I was on WIC I got whole milk. They didn't make me get anything lower and when my kids started on milk it had to be whole milk because the kids need the fat. That was Texas though.

i know that ours used to say 2- 48 oz or 1-64 oz you may want to ask your wic office about that... as for the milk, i think you are just going to have to get used to drinking 2% it took me a little while (my dad switched us over when i was a teen cuz he went on a health kick) now i can't drink whole cuz it makes me gag... the only way we could get whole milk was for the kids younger than 2... as soon as my dd2 rurned two, they switched her to 2% as well
