19 month old first cold

DH and I went to see New Moon Saturday night for my birthday and DD stayed with nana and grandpa. Before we left we had dinner and DD seemed alright but she was VERY hot to the touch. Older brother is a paramedic and lives with gparnents so we weren't worried leaving her because he was all over things. We had them give her infant motrin every 6 hours as needed. When we got her Sunday she seemed herself if not a little tired. My father told me they took her temperature after she fell asleep and it was 102! In the a.m. they took it again and it was around 99. When we got her home she seemed to be normal body temperature but we never got her actual temperature because she would wake up every time we tried. She seems to be herself but she is testy.

DD is my first and this is her first cold (at least i think it is/was a cold). Thoughts? should I take her to the doctors better safe than sorry? Opinions would be great.

She has been very cuddly. Spent most of today knitting on the sofa with her leaning against me while she just sorta relaxed.

Keep checking her temp, and i'd keep with the motrin every 6 hours, too. Call the doc if she isn't back to her normal self by Monday. Hope she gets all better soon

(OF COURSE THOUGH, as you would know anyway, that part about calling Monday is obviously unless she gets a fever of 103 or higher and it won't go down then take her to ER < my opinion anyway)
