To clean after the kids are in bed and you feel drained?
Whatkeeps me motivated is the tiny single room studio apartment my husband son and I used to live in for the first year of my sons life. We had to keep it spotless or we'd never be able to move around without stepping on something or tripping over something. Now that we have a larger place I keep it clean because I remember what it was like to not have enough space to put anything. My home is a luxury to me and I take care of my luxuries.
I would rather get the chores done during the week so my weekend is free!
knowing that when i wake up and get the 30-60 minutes by myself in the morning i can feel relaxed because everything looks nice.
I work nights, in fact at work now. So I will pick up whatever little messes there might be when I get home in the morning while waiting for the kids to go to school ( I like to wake up to a nice clean house). And then any major stuff like laundry or cleaning bathrooms gets done in the afternoon when I wake up.
