I have not done anything today.. I didnt even get dressed really.. it took all my enengery to do one load of laundry! I feel like a serious slacker, and I feel bad for it.. please tell me im not the only one who feels gulity for slacking from time to time.
You deserve to have a day or two out of the week where you do whatever you feel like it. Let the laundry pile up, the dishes sit in the sink...it will all get clean eventually.
If we didn't have those days that we said 'to hell with it' we would go crazy!!!
there are some days i dont do anything cleaning related, and just play with my kids.
my motto: it's unlikely that my children will ever wish i had spent more time cleaning, but they may wish i had spent more time with them

All I've done all day is make tutus and blab on cafemom. I did mail a few tutu orders off. Oh, and I did some networking for the business on Myspace and FB, but other than that.. yeah.. not much. The house would be a wreck if my 3 year old wasn't a clean freak. She keeps saying "You sit, I'll clean momma.." and cleans.. lol I love kids.
24 year old, God loving, non-vaxing, tutu making WAH momma to Jenelle, Gracelynn, and Sapphire. Girlfriend to Rachel (not wife, because apparently some people are AGAINST two loving, consenting adults marrying).
I've been super lazy all day except for taking my DS stupid carseat back to the store i've accomplished nothing. Gonna go do some yoga and chill out.
If it makes you feel better, i slept from noon until 4pm today lol. But in my defense...i woke up at 3am and couldnt go back to sleep till 6:30..then had to get up at 7am to get DD off to school. lol
So i am NOW doing my cleaning and what not , while watching my shows and browsing the internet.
But sunday i did a HUGE cleaning spree, i re organized my kitchen cuboards, re organized my bathroom....got on my hands and knee's and washed all of my tiled floors lol.
So i dont feel too bad.
But every mommy needs a day to herself...or two....or three LOL
there are days when i do no more than make the beds and make sure everyone is bathed and fed (myself, son and pets) 3 meals and snacks and the kitchen is cleaned afterwards...these are sundays; i do not leave the house unless invited. sunday is my 'detox' day from all the crazy folks i encountered during the past week and will surely encounter again in the upcoming week...lol.
