your opinion (sex in the room with kids)
So I had a somewhat interesting visit with a "friend"-- we've hung out like 4 times within the past 10 months, but she's friends with my boyfriend, she has an almost 3 year old daughter, and she's about 3 years older than me. i would LIKE to be her friend because of those reasons- i dont wanna be the jealous girlfriend when he hangs out with her (she's the type that kinda gets any guy she wants.. my bf even knows it so i wanna befriend her to let it known like she doesnt scare me and i dont care that they hang out.. if that make sense. lol).. and our kids can be playmates and damnit- i just need a friend! lol
Anyways, so her daughter was kinda just chilling with my son. no idea how it happened, but eventually they started wrestling. lol not really real wrestling, but they were running after each other, grabbing each other and when the first would fall, the other would fall ontop. lol my son kinda sucks at running so its easy for her to catch him.. but she lands ontop of him and starts humping him! not like a female on a man- cowgirl style, but like missionary, man on top type thing. i was like whoa.
now- lemme explain her for a little bit. she sucks at being a mom. i realized it before, but i believe in "my kid, my rules" type thing so i let it go.. like soda before a year old, candy for meals, never actually takes care of her kid (her friends, her mom and the daycare center does). like she'll drop the kid off in the morning, the mom of my "friend" will pick the kid up for a few hours (til like 9) and then drop the child off.. then the mom- my friend- will take the kid to her friends house so she can go out to the clubs and stuff. she doesnt work, isnt in school (although she plans on it- wants to be a doctor). she also leads a really sexual satisfying life style. i mean, the girl lives with a male "room mate" aka fuck buddy... and has like 2 or 3 always on call, just in case... guys who will come to their apartment. again- i dont approve of any of those, but to me, those actions kinda say you suck at being a mom/you are putting your wants first when you should be hanging out with your kid
mkay- back to the post. i seen that, and i was like "whoa- she looks like she's doing my son!" and then she was like "{child's name}- get off him!" and the girl looks at her mom and is like "XXXXXX does that to you, right mommy?"..
which lead me to think/question- how does she know? she knows because she sees it. the mom was like yea, a couple times, she'll wake up in the middle of the night (or whenever they are doing it- like in the AM), and she'll just be in the same room while we "finish up". but for them, finishing up can go for like another 20+ minutes (what she says, at least... which could be true. the XXXXXX guy is friends with my BF as well and they all talk about sex- how long they go, fav positions, etc.)
is it just me-- or is this weird? do other people do this- "finish up" even tho the kid is in the bedroom? or what about just having sex in the same bedroom as the child, even if the child is sleeping?

Ok when my kids were little (and since we just moved my 4 month old out of the bassinet in my room) im guilty of it while they were sleeping...no matter the age, awake HELL no...and if i even hear my DDs feet hit the floor, we stop because i know the first place shes goin is in my room

HELL NO!! That's an automatic stopping point! My 2 year old has walked in before and we stopped. That's just gross imo

uhhh thats kinda gross. my aunt walked in on her son touching her daugher they were only 5 and 3, but my aunt freaked out. Come to find out her son had walked in on daddy and his g/f and watched the whole thing they didnt even stop to put him back in his bedroom. I was disgusted. I couldnt imagine having sex with my son in the room. im pregnant now and freak out about sex. like omgawd the baby will know it. i know they wont realize or remember but it still freaks me out. Thats just really really weird in my opinion.
Breastfeeding/formula feeding, non-circumcising, vaccinating, co-sleeping, disposable diapering, spanking when needed, forward faced at 1, feed my son whatever he wants in moderation, Wife to Joey since 01/06, mother to David James since 07/12/07, and pregnant with baby number two due June 7, 2010.

See now that is just wrong......I mean yeah DH and I have had sex when our son was asleep, but stopped if he woke up. But seriously why would you want to continue after your kid is awake. Especially a kid that is older.

um, NO. That is so wrong. kids should not see that. especially at that age, where they are old enough to realize and ACT IT OUT!!! That is the same as letting her watch porn as far as I'm concerned. worse even, I mean, letting her kid see different men on top of her mom.....that is very very messed up.

thats horrible and disgusting. I'd NEVER do that with my kids in the room. no no no.
my aunt used to do that. her kids would be watching tv when they were little, and her and whatever random guy she drug in off the street would be going at it on the couch behind them. Both of them started having sex when they were 11, and had more sexual partners than they could count on 2 hands by the time they were 15.i firmly believe that their mothers actions had a lot to do with it.

When my son was very, very little, a few months old... yes, I did. He was sleeping and if, miracles of miracles we BOTH had the energy? Heck yeah! Now my son is 17 months old and there's no way I'd be able to keep the mood with him anywhere near, awake or asleep. It doesn't help that our house has no doors. :( So, as he gets older, we're having to be more and more careful. An infant has no idea what's going on, and especially if that infant is asleep, eh.. go for it. When they're old enough to ask questions, maybe not such a great idea.

Ewww... gross. I could NEVER have sex with my child awake and in the same room, that's wrong!
When Becka slept in our room, there were times when she was asleep and we were quiet, but had she woken up we would have stopped. (We were lucky, almost 2 years of room-sharing and she never woke up, not once).

That's fuckin disgusting if you ask me and I'd be calling CPS. For real. Bash me for that if you want, but wtf? I can't even have sex with DF in our own bedroom because we share a heating vent with my oldest DD. We usually wait until both girls are in bed at night and do it, quietly, downstairs. I can't even imagine. God that just pisses me off. She's a horrible mother. I really see that doctor thing panning out for her *rolls eyes*
