My niece died from a freak accident when she was almost 4. Her parents decided in the middle to donate and helped 6 people. They received letters from some of the recipients including one mom who had not been able to see her children for years. She received my nieces corneas (I think that's what it was, some part of the eye anyway) and could now watch her children grow up. Now why would anyone want to deny that to someone?
I am. My friend tried to tell me she didn't want to be a donor because if she was in any sort of accident and the paramedic looked at her ID and seen she was they wouldn't try as hard to save her life! WTH is that! lol

I am, DH is and if bob forbidd anything were to happen to our children they would be too. One tragedy can become someone elses miracle especially when it comes to minor organ donation. I guess I would feel like two people were lost needlessly. DH and I spoke about this before we even had children.
nope and never will be because I smoked for so many years and i used to go out to get drunk all the time so i don't think my organs need to be used.
