I have had the Mirena for over a year. It is ok...only 1 light period in a year. But my face is breaking out, I cramp a lot lately and bad headaches. But the good news is I am not pregnant. My cousin got the mirena 3 months before me and she is due in January. So be safe check your strings
i have the mirena and have not liked it from the start! to be honest with you i am sick all the time since i got it..... my body has changed for the worst... the only positive i have found is i have had it since dec 2007 and havent gotten pregnant

my friend got pregnant with that in and after she found out she was pg she had it taken out and had a m/c. then she got a new one in and got pregnant again and now has a 5 month old lol she just got her tube tied between her and her df they now have 6 kids. her 3 and their one together 24/7 and his kids on weekends
