So I just found out that dh is going to get laid off some time this week...way to ruin the holidays. I thought they were supposed to get to work till the beginning of January and then get layed off but it seems they are ahead of schedule. I'm hopin he doesn't go to long without work because I still want us to have a good Christmas.
Hubs and I are both laid off, my own position was completely eliminated so no hope of recall there, so I know how you feel.
I am so sorry to hear that. I feel for you and I know exactly what you are going through. Both me and my hubby had to start freelance work again because there are no jobs and people even with college degrees can't find work where we live. So we decided to start doing side work again to make ends meet. He does computer work and I do photography. Is there something that your hubby is talented in that he could possibly do something like this. Sometimes it really brings in more money than a regular day to day job. I learned not to depend on the day to day jobs a while ago. We live in a very depressed area and every other house is for sale and nobody can get a loan because they either have bad credit for maxing credit cards or the banks don't want to risk the loans. I am so sorry this happened, and right before the holidays. Hang in there, it will all be okay.
